I was born and raised in Morocco and spent much of my life in Spain, shaping a culinary identity rooted in Spanish and Mediterranean traditions. I trained and refined my craft in kitchens across Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia’s coast, and Menorca, building a strong foundation in technique, product, and bold, balanced flavor.

After moving to the United States, I launched PhillyTapas and Basqake to share authentic Spanish classics like paella and tapas with a new audience. My Basque-style cheesecake earned critical praise—Craig LaBan of The Philadelphia Inquirer called it “an absolute fork magnet”—and I bring that same standard of quality to every private dining experience I cook.

My formative training started with Soloh Group in Barcelona, and from there I changed positions in varying cities between Madrid, Barcelona and Philly, which taught me how to adapt seamlessly while keeping quality and flavor at the center.
